  1. Can someone pls answer a stupid question of mine? Why does my page 2 link on the webpage stay underlined and green when i'm on the page 2 ? ? ? the other two turn gray and without a line, when I'm in them. Anyone? pls.

  2. <link rel='"stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/background.css">

    Anyone having issues linking.
    in his video he uses /> that wont work for everyone i'm assuming his automatically corrects that when loading the page or some shit it's > at the end.
    Also make sure you index the file location folder then the file name for example
    Website practice main folder -> css folder -> background.css
    I'll use the tags
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/background.css">

  3. Great video. But i get a little confused when it comes to using links. for example u didnt explain how u linked up ur various pages. could u just explain it to me via the comment by reply. thanks.

  4. Hey thank you for the great tutorial I'm really excited and proud of what I managed to do so far thank to you!

    I know this may sound like a stupid question but why does link tag end with "/>" ? Someone below posted they were displaying error on their web "" caused by "/>". Aren't you suppose to close the tag once it's linked for an example: <link href="styles/main.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> </link>. If not can you briefly explain the difference between the link tag and the ones you taught us in the previous video? Thank you and keep up the great work.

  5. Hi, I am trying myself to create a webpage, I've follow all of the instruction of your video, but why was my webpage don't have any respond to the background colour?

  6. I've gotten to 7:14 but my css sheet is NOT loading as your version did. Changed font and background color, char of char the same as you've shown, and nothing in my browser is changing. Thoughts?

  7. I wrote the class and the id exactly the same and is not working… At the begining the id worked and then, after some adjustments in other places, stopped to work… The class has never work since the beginning even when I checked several times… Has somebody the same issue? How can I solve it?

  8. For those of you still having problems and have tried all the suggestions on this page. I also tried them, and tried different browsers to see if it was the problem still no change in color. I then went into the inspect element on internet explore and found the activeX filters weren't allowing it to load. I then went to file explorer to see how it would load, that is when I found it was opening in notepad, went to properties and changed it to opening with sublime3, it then loaded on all the browsers beautifully.
    suggest checking to see if that corrects the problem for you.
